Labor Day Shootout - Registration for this event has closed!
The 2012 Labor Day Shootout is the inaugural event for the newly constructed Silver Dollar RC Raceway, proud host of the 2013 IFMAR Electric Off-Road World Championships. The Shootout began in 2008, promoted by Northern Californian and TLR member, Philip Atondo, with the creation of his River Front RC race facility in Marysville, CA. After successfully directing and growing the program over three years, River Front RC was closed due to circumstances beyond Phillip’s control. Historically the event has attracted 200 entries, but we aim and fully expect to fill a 24 heat program with a cap of 360 total entries. We do not intend to push the program upward of 500 entries as our hope is to provide a well-organized and enjoyable experience where drivers and their families will have the opportunity to get out and enjoy the many attractions that Chico has to offer. We believe with the right industry partners, our relationship with various factory teams and the popularity of our own team of professional drivers, we will meet our goal of attracting the top talent from across the US to provide a competitive event satisfying drivers and spectators alike.
