The Event
Dirtburners, one of the most competitive and active 1/8th off-road tracks in the country provides the setting and host track to one of the most anticipated yearly races in the region. Battle the best of the Midwest while being outdoors where the action is hot and heavy at the 2023 Gateway Classic Presented by Protek RC on June 9-10, 2023.
Brought to you by the St. Louis Dirtburners, home of the Midwest's best off-road RC racing action, and some of the best companies in the industry once again in 2023.

What to Expect
- Once again, our track will be professionally designed and built.
- Entry Fee: $30 first class, $20 each additional class. *CASH ONLY*
- 12 car mains, 2 bump-ups.
- Program may be slightly shortened depending on entries to allow on-time completion.
- Awards will be given to TQ and Top 5 of each class.
- NO chassis-sponsored drivers allowed in Sportsman classes.
- Heats will be re-sorted after each round of qualifying.
- 20 minute Nitro A-mains, 10-minute Electric 1/8 A-mains, 8-minute 1/10 A-main
- 40+ Nitro Buggy will be added to program if <150 entries
- RV and Trailer parking is available.
- Personal transponders are required. (All except black MRT transponders are compatible)
- Door and raffle prizes will be offered.
The Facility
Our world class outdoor facility has a large 100ft x 200ft track and a 24ft x 76ft driver's stand, which includes fans, an integrated timing office and pit area outfitted with a monitor to promote team race awareness during intense nitro mains. In addition, Dirtburners offers ADA amenities such as handicap parking, 90 foot long wheelchair access ramp and a wheelchair compatible drivers stand.
