1:8 Scale Championship Series

--May 17-19, Hayden RC Raceway (HRCR), Hayden ID (ROAR 1:8 Regionals and Fuel Nats Warmup)

--July 19-21, DieHard RC, Snohomish WA

--August 16-18, DieHard RC, Snohomish WA

--September 13-15, Hayden RC Raceway (HRCR), Hayden ID

Wilde Events is proud to offer up the 2024 WERC Series. This 1:8 Scale race series is meant to offer something different in smaller field event with the focus on competitive racing and comradery that RC racing brings. 

• We expect these events to start after the sun is up and done before the sun is down each day, excluding round 1. Wilde Events has been a part of running races in the Northwest for 15 years, we are excited to continue racing in the NW with this awesome 1:8 series.

For 2024 we will be offering 7 classes that will run Full weekend of Qualifiers and Mains:

• Open Nitro Buggy
• SPEC Tire Nitro Buggy (TZO 601 Premounts Soft)
• Open E-Buggy
• SPEC Tire E-Buggy (TZO 601 Premount Soft)
• Open Nitro Truggy
• Open E-Truggy
• Sportsman E-buggy ($45 only single A main)

Based on the qualifying in Nitro Buggy for 40+ and nitro/ebuggy for juniors there will be 2 additional mains set by the qualifying order at minor fee only to cover class awards LATE Saturday night

Nitro Masters (40+) and Junior (E and Nitro)

• Qualifying will be based off of qual position in highest competition class for top 15 competitors then go to next level. Open Nitro top 15, then go to SPEC Nitro 15, open 16-30 then spec 16-30 (Ebuggy: Open, SPEC, Sportsman
  • Example Driver A finishes 12 in Open Nitro and Driver B finished 4 In SPEC Nitro. Driver A will start ahead of Driver B on the grid

TQ and Top 3 each event Awards

***$5 from each entry (excluding SPEC) will go to a Random Class payout Each Weekend (Roll of the die Friday night)***

Payouts are 50% 1st 30% 2nd 20% 3rd (must have at min one full heat of 12 to qualify as payout class)

• These will be smaller heat capped events with exception of round 1. (MAX 20 Heats in most cases)
• The race will $55 per entry including $5 per entry paid for random payout ($50 entry and $5 pool, may not opt out). $75 for SPEC tire classes with set of tires included, and $45 for Sportsman
• Refunds are available until 14 days prior to the event Start (Friday)

SCHEDULE

Friday practice 10am-8pm

Saturday - 8am-9pm (or Dark) consisting of 3 RUNS towards qualification and if time the Junior and Master Age Mains

Sunday  - Mains 8am-8pm with lower mains, upper mains then finals followed immediately by the Awards in front of a podium banner!

3 of 4 Series Races will be used for points awarding top 10 (2 races completed required to receive award) in series points.
