This is the turf event you don’t want to miss! Whether you are a seasoned turf racer or are looking to give the surface a try this is where you want to be on February 7th and 8th. Motorama has stepped away from 10th scale offroad and we are here to step up and show that an artificial surface race can draw a crowd. This is our first annual and we run a professional program and have been for years between HODRC and Pit Stop Hobbies (est. 1984). This race will be held at our winter location at Highlands of Donegal Golf Club 650 Pinkerton Rd, Mount Joy, Pa 17552. We take over the banquet facility (50x70) for a long pile astro turf track. The best part might be that we are located adjacent to a full service pub where the racer pits are located. The pub will broadcast the races on the big screen so you can enjoy a pint and watch all the racing action. Our full service Kitchen can take care of your hunger while our bartenders take care of your thirst. Race Classes: Novice, 17.5 2wd Buggy, 13.5 4wd Buggy, Open 2wd Buggy, Open 4wd Buggy, Open Stadium Truck, Open 2wd Short Course, Open Mini Truggy. Race is capped at the first 80 individual racers, so sign up early we expect this event to sell out. Spec Tire: All entries will receive a full set of 4 tires for their class, you will be required to use either these tires or the exact tire. You will receive the tires with no wheels or inserts it is the racers responsibility to provide wheels and mount them. The tires we chose for this event wear very well and you will more than likely be able to race all weekend on your handout tires. Additional sets will be available for purchase at Pit Stop Hobbies located just minutes from the track, along with a full service hobby shop. $45 first entry, $35 each additional. Only a limited number of rental transponders are available on a first come first serve basis.
