Rules for the 2026 TNS 1/8 Scale Series 1st entry $40, each additional entry $30 CASH ONLY PAYMENTS day of. Regular track fees apply Friday to the host club. People who practice Friday are exempt from Saturday Morning practice*  Certain ROAR rules may be enforced at the discretion of the TNS race director Fuel capacity 125cc buggy, 150cc truggy. Join us at the Pit Stop Hobby Tech Table throughout qualifying to ensure you are legal for the main. Top 4 get teched in each A main. All Truggy bodies allowed. Best total laps/time (rocket round) of either round will be used for qualifying. Qualifying race(s) will be 4 to 5 minutes long, Round 1 will have 2 warmup laps and Round 2 will be 1 Out Lap. Longer nitro main event lengths will vary with attendance, water schedule & track amenities/accommodations. We are fair and want to give our racers the most consistent race program in the nation.

Personal MYLAPS transponders are required, we also accept AMBRC 3 ear and MRT transponders. It is your job to have a functional transponder numer with a submitted number. We do not handcount. 

Awards for top 3 in the "A" mains at each event. Awards for top 5 at end of series. The number of vehicles in a qualifying race or main event may vary depending on the track/drivers stand size. We usually shoot for 12 (10 make the main and 2 bump) Best 4 races count, 3 throw outs. 2 car bump up format. NITRO  classes will run SINGLE “A” Mains. Racers must attend 4 of 7 events to be eligible for end of series awards. Most events will have registration the day before and the morning of, please make sure you sign in prior to running on the track. Wristbands are required to be on the stand and will be obtained at registration. Practice from 6am to 8am. No chassis sponsored drivers are allowed in any Sportsman classes. 

The Top Notch Series awards you points for how well you finish in each main event race as well as how you qualified. Points are awarded as follows: Qualifying 1st seed = 100 points 2nd seed = 99 points 3rd seed = 98 points etc. 1 bonus point for top qualifying. Mains 1st place = 100 points 2nd Place = 99 points 3rd place = 98 points Example you TQ and Win the Main you have earned the maximum possible for a Round 201 points. We do not offer attendance points* First tiebreaker will be your first highest throw out. Second tiebreaker will be you second highest throw out. Third tie breaker will be who finished higher in Round 7. The racer with the most points in each class, when counting the best 4 out of 7 results at the end of the season will be crowned the 2025 TNS champion!
